***In A Poem***

TIME

A girl chasing truth
Across the barren desert
Fierce Wind blew her youth.

THE BRACELET
The infinite swirl of gold
You cuffed around my wrist
Each bead depicts how old---you said.
And kissed me a Judas' Kiss.

To be a doctor, perhaps a wife
To hold a purpose and have meaning
I promised to give you life---you said.
To find what you've been searching

"Thank You" in Silence: All I replied
For the symbolic beads of tears
For the life that was never mine---I prayed.
For the truth that yoked my years.

Green, the color of Eden's chlorophyll
Indeed, I see the hue of mold's decay
And the gold of cyclical swirl---I wore
Purchased freedom of youthful days.

Twenty passed years I had of breathing
Summed by green beads of this adder
This pointless circle of life---for giving.
The end, yet to be discovered...
In a Poem.
